Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?

– Chicago Transit Authority

The time schedule is different here than at home. For reasons that are obscure to me (and probably cultural), Spain follows the Central European Time zone like Germany. This is despite the fact that it is well west of England.  Apparently Franco played a role in the decision.  So the sun doesn’t rise until 7 am and doesn’t set until 10 pm. It’s consistent with the restaurants not opening until 8:30 pm for dinner.

Also,we have received weather reports from our friend Bill letting us know that the temperature will be going to nearly 90 degrees in Vermont today. Have no fears.  Do not fall for that global warming blah blah! Temperatures here were in the 40s when we woke up and we had interesting discussions with our fellow pilgrims concerning whether today was the rainiest day yet.
